This apartment in Madrid’s Literary Quarter has retained the beautiful textured walls and beams inherited from the original 1900 home. The combination of frayed walls, stucco moldings and vibrant modern furnishings make this space unique and incredibly interesting. In the already spacious living room, the designer tried to expand the space with mirrors on the walls, and bright sofa and armchairs helped in zoning and accents. The kitchen-dining room turned out to be calmer, but no less stylish – green details added freshness, and paintings, chairs and lamps of individuality. How do you like this mixture of styles and eras?
