Art collector’s house overlooking the waterfront in Sydney

Australian studio Arent & Pyke designed this art lover’s home in Sydney. The designers were lucky enough to join the project at an early stage, so they managed to realize everything that was planned. A palette of muted eucalyptus and earthy tones was used as a basis, furniture was made to order or bought from local companies. By the way, bright unusual furniture is in harmony with paintings and posters, this helps to avoid the effect of a museum, when all attention should be directed only to the canvases. Also, catchy prints and texture of fabrics work great, they make the interiors feel more spacious and interesting. Only a beautiful view of the embankment and the bay competes with a rich collection of art – and this is a great neighborhood!
