When designer Lucy Bugden first saw this beachfront home in northern Sydney, she was immediately captivated by the waterfront location and the elegance it exuded despite slightly outdated condition. The founder of Lubu Design then was able to see the great potential of the house, so she willingly agreed to take on the project. While working on interior updates, Lucy tried to bring plenty of daylight into the house, for which she used a white color scheme and enlarged the windows in some rooms. The decor has mid-century notes that have become a harmonious continuation of the architecture of the house built in that era.
