The owner of this home in Atlanta has a great passion for old architecture. She watched this house for 15 years before it was put up for sale – and there was not a doubt whether to buy or not. But in order to return the beautiful English-style cottage to its former glory, she hired designer Shon Parker, who had to deal with several additions left from previous owners and update the interiors. The result is so beautiful!
Barbara Westbrook‘s home in Atlanta perfectly reflects her style and approach to design. First and foremost, it is love for everything antique and things with history – this cottage was recently restored, but it seems as if it stood here untouched for several centuries. In addition, Barabara loves books and art objects – there is a large library in her home, in addition, almost every room has books as decor. Great design for those who love timeless interiors!
Although this loft in Atlanta has a lot of usual industrial features that every loft should have, we cannot but admit some important personal decor elements that make this house unique. First of all, of course, it’s about wall decor: large family framed photos by the dinner table, classic portraits in the massive golden frames in the kitchen, unexpected wallpaper with feathers, art mirrors all over the house. This home is so interesting to explore!
Only big designers can create a really timeless interior, that everyone will easily believe it was built ages ago. Westbrook Interiors designs such kind of spaces: true, elegant, with a touch of antiquity and with a lot of heart. We are happy to share one of them with you – gorgeous Belgian-style home in Atlanta.
