A young couple lives in this positive and bright house near Barcelona. They moved here quite recently and were very worried that the move would be painful. That is why it was important for the designer to create the most comfortable and happy environment. Yellow color and natural materials have perfectly helped in this. There is a bright open area of the kitchen-dining room-living where the owners can receive guests, and the veranda to spend long days in the summer, and the fireplace to sit by in winter. When a home is limited in its area, high ceilings can help. In this very small apartment in Stockholm, thanks to the mezzanine bedroom, it was possible to make room for a full-sized living room in which you can feel spacious and even receive guests. As for the color scheme, Scandinavian gray is diluted here with bright yellow details. Compact and comfy!
In her Moscow apartment, designer Olga Zaretskikh wanted to display that atmosphere and a set of shades that are so lacking in Russia for most of the year. That’s why the design is dominated by yellow-green colors, plant motifs everywhere – from wallpaper on walls to prints on cushions. Despite the fact that the apartment is in Stalin’s house with a limited layout (for example, the kitchen here is very small without the possibility of increasing), the owner managed to create a real oasis of warmth and comfort. This spacious and light loft in Paris is an excellent example of an open-plan living space. Here, in fact, there are no solid walls (not counting those in the bathrooms), and all rooms are located within the one space with high ceilings, wooden beams and an plenty of windows. Only a glass wall separates the living area and private spaces. Great project!
