In her Moscow apartment, designer Olga Zaretskikh wanted to display that atmosphere and a set of shades that are so lacking in Russia for most of the year. That’s why the design is dominated by yellow-green colors, plant motifs everywhere – from wallpaper on walls to prints on cushions. Despite the fact that the apartment is in Stalin’s house with a limited layout (for example, the kitchen here is very small without the possibility of increasing), the owner managed to create a real oasis of warmth and comfort. Beautiful home!
Like the views of the blue Mediterranean Sea and the green hills opens from the window of this summer villa in Corsica, and the terrace bathing in the sunlight, the interiors are decorated in exactly the same color scheme the. Here the mood is set precisely by blue, green and yellow. The house was designed for pure relaxation, there is no TV, but there are plenty of sofas, a spacious bathroom, a bar and, of course, an incredible terrace with swimming pool. All this is “flavored” with gay prints and catchy accessories, that add to the holiday atmosphere. Bright, stylish and very sunny!
This spacious and light loft in Paris is an excellent example of an open-plan living space. Here, in fact, there are no solid walls (not counting those in the bathrooms), and all rooms are located within the one space with high ceilings, wooden beams and an plenty of windows. Only a glass wall separates the living area and private spaces. Great project!
This lovely Paris apartment is filled with the ease of being and fresh notes of warm spring air. Daylight almost unimpededly enters this beautiful apartment through the large so-called “French” windows of one of the unique historic buildings in the city center. And further, thanks to the magnificent interior architecture and the yellow-green palette, it spreads easily throughout the home, giving only the most joyful emotions to dwellers. Pure beauty!
Spain is often associated with all things bright and juicy, and this apartment, on the contrary, is tender and subtle, but not without expression that is in the yellow color. Thanks to pastel tones and catchy accents, it was possible to create a warm summer mood in the rooms. And given a large number of sunny days in Spain, this solution makes an even greater effect. Such a welcoming home!
Gorgeous rounded windows in the living room are the main attraction of this wonderful home on the Spanish coast, they give a perfect view over the local bay. And yet, through these windows, a lot of sunlight gets into the house enhancing lovely colorful decor with a summer vibe. Ideal home for summer vacation!
This cool Madrid home resembles a color palette – the white background is infused with bright and juicy colorful splashes. Thanks to the large windows, which are not overloaded with heavy curtains, there is a lot of light. Interiors by designer Alejandra Pombo are famous for their detail and this project is not an exception. Paintings, sculptures, flowers, vases and even mini-installations – everything fits perfectly into interiors. Great design in sunny Spain!
Paris is all about inspiration and this bold apartment was created by inspiration for sure. The furniture looks and feels so easy and bright – as if someone just created it here in passing. It may look rough, but it’s only the first impression, that quickly disappears. Then you realize that only the most creative designer could do that. A bright yellow color brings air into the interiors. Here the style is higher than the rules, more than trends, stronger than ordinary. A house of fresh thinking and clean ideas.
Yellow is a great choice for a color accent, especially when the main scheme is monochrome gray and white, as in this home in Poland. Along with color, here the mood is set by geometric shapes (tiles, prints on pillows, graphic furniture) as well. In addition, there are a lot of wood here, even stored firewood, not to mention wooden floor and furniture. You would not find ultra modern design solutions or colorful decor here, but everything is done with a soul and love: many books, flowers and coziness. Great home!
Popular home brands are slowly preparing for the next season and autumn notes are already felt in their fresh photosets. The Swedish H&M Home slightly opened the veil over its future Autumn 2017 collection and showed some wonderful designs with their new products. The interiors are still very warm in color, but the shades are already more saturated with some accents of dark colors. WE love the mustard-beige combinations with ethnic motifs in textiles. Inspiring, as always.
