This mountain cottage in the Aran Valley in the Pyrenees is one of the oldest in the area, so inside the windows are very small and little light gets inside. The owners did their best to take this circumstance into account during the recent reconstruction and painted the wooden surfaces inside in light tones. Now it is very difficult to believe that only a few years ago it was a dark and unattractive home. And look at this mega cozy zone by the fireplace!
