In the XIX century, there was a one-story factory in this building in New Jersey. However, for a family that moved to this house recently, there was not enough space, so they started a large-scale reconstruction. They built a second floor, replaced all the windows, built a terrace and a backyard. The area of the kitchen-living room was decorated with wooden beams and factory mechanisms, in memory of its industrial past. In the remaining rooms, everything is made of natural materials, with a minimum of decor and furniture.
