When carpet and textile designer Ashley Stark and her husband bought this gorgeous historic townhouse in Manhattan, they thought they will just fix it up a little bit. But the minor renovation lasted for as long as 3 years and turned into a large-scale reconstruction with the replacement of almost all the finishes, including floors and ceilings. ‘Only the facade remained untouched’ – the new owners say. In the interiors, Ashley fully realized her favorite style – a calm, elegant base and bright colorful accents. Great family home!
