1950s house surrounded by oak and orange trees in California

Interior designer Amber Lewis and her husband bought this 1950s home in Woodland Hills, California five years ago. They were conquered by the location – the site is planted with oaks, orange trees and palm trees, moreover, it is a very quiet and peaceful area. At first, the family lived in the old interiors for two years and then arranged a large-scale reconstruction, which was completed in mid-2020. In her projects, Amber tries to use natural shades, vintage items and a variety of textiles, and her own home was no exception. The interiors breathe with calmness and coziness, while vintage elements and new furniture and accessories are perfectly balanced. A special love of the owners is the pool area surrounded by lush greenery: a classic Californian image!
