When the family of designer Monica Calderon and architect Ezequiel Farca moved from Mexico to the US 13 years ago, they settled in Beverly Hills. But recently, the couple decided to move to nearby Santa Monica – here they liked the beach much more and, in general, a more relaxed atmosphere. The creative couple did not want to live in a new house, so they were looking for a house with history and character, and they found one – a daubed Mexican-style villa with a pool. The family transformed the house beyond recognition with stylish dark hues, but the historic charm is still felt in its outlines and inside. Enjoy!
